The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday morning some Palestinians after surrounding and raiding a house in the village of Rujib, east of Nablus, amid fierce firefight.
The Hebrew Channel 14 reported that “Israeli army forces surrounded a house belonging to the Salhi family in the village, before firing rockets at it.”
According to Hebrew media, the exchange of fire was reported on Tuesday morning.
The channel pointed out that Palestinian gunmen fired heavily at the army forces, stressing that there were no casualties in its ranks.
Israeli media reported that what’s happening in Rujib has nothing to do with the incident of shooting at dawn today on Jewish settlers who tried to storm Joseph’s Tomb east of Nablus, injuring two of them, one of them seriously, referring to another army activity in Balata camp east of Nablus.
The military correspondent for the Hebrew newspaper Maariv said that the resistance fighters fired precisely at the Israeli special occupation forces surrounding the house in the town of Rujib.
Local sources confirmed explosions and fire shots were sounded in Rujib, and the Palestinian Red Crescent said that a young man was injured in the stomach by Israeli occupation fire in the town.
According to Health sources, 3 young men were injured by Israeli occupation forces in the surrounded area.
