For the second day in a row, Israeli occupation forces prevented Saturday, 8 October 2022 the Palestinian farmers from picking olives in Awarta, southeast of Nablus.
Local media reported that the Israeli occupation forces prevented the Palestinian farmers from entering their lands on the eastern side of Awarta to pick the olives.
Israeli colonial settlers attacked yesterday the Palestinian farmers in their own lands and stole the olives under the Israeli occupation forces’ protection.
Israeli military troops targeted a number of Palestinian farmers with tear gas canisters after colonial settlers attacked them.
Israeli occupation forces and colonial settlers continue their illegal practices against Palestinian farmers including preventing them from reaching their lands, burning and stealing the olive trees, and vandalizing their agricultural equipment.
