Israeli occupation forces launched Monday, 5 December 2022, a campaign of raids across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, detaining at least 14 Palestinians after breaking into their homes.
Local sources reported that the heavily armed Israeli forces broke into Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jenin detaining several Palestinians after raiding their houses and terrorizing their families in multiple military raids across the occupied West Bank
In the south of the West Bank, Israeli troops invaded Hebron and detained 8 Palestinians after storming their homes including freed Palestinian detainees and 3 siblings.
The detainees were identified as the Palestinian man Basem Muhammad Badawi al-Zuhur along with his two brothers Moeen and Muti’, Uday Raed Al-Asafra, Hamza Hussein Al-Zuhur, Bakr Awni Al-Zuhur, Muhammad Ibrahim Arziqat, and Shadi Qadr Muslim Abu Karsh.
In Bethlehem, Israeli troops kidnaped the freed Palestinian detainees Uday Abu Nassar, Moaz Abu Nassar along with the Palestinian youth Yazan Manna after they shot and killed his brother Omar.
In Jenin, Israeli heavily-armed forces barged their way into the camp, broke into several houses, and kidnapped the freed Palestinian man Yahya Al-Saadi, son of the Palestinian administrative detainee Bassam Al-Saadi who was illegally held in Israeli jails without a charge or trial.
In Ramallah, the Palestinian youths Mahdi Saeed Al-Khawaja, Uday Akl Sorour, Amir Al-Khawaja, and Yasser Arafat Al-Shafei were detained by well-armed Israeli occupation forces who raided and searched their homes.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occuiped West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased near-daily military raids and violations by Israeli forces in recent months.
380 Palestinians were arrested by the Israeli occupation including 41 children and 11 women in November 2022, according to Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies.
