Israeli occupation forces launched Monday, September 12, a campaign of raids across the occupied West Bank and detained at least 19 Palestinians after breaking into their homes.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces broke into Jenin, Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, and occupied Jerusalem, detaining several Palestinians after raiding their houses in multiple raids across the occupied West Bank.
In Jenin, Israeli heavily-armed forces barged their way into Jenin, broke into several houses, and kidnapped 6 Palestinians including 3 brothers and 2 injured Palestinian youths.
The detainees are the injured Palestinian men Hamad Mahmoud Abu Bakr, Mustafa Akram Al-Qanba’ along with his two brothers Hani and Samer Al-Qanba’, and the freed Palestinian detainee Majd Zahi Al Saadi.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces kidnapped the Palestinian young men, Omar Al-Hayzi and Mohammed Alyan after storming their homes in Al-Amari refugee camp and Al- Jalazun refugee camp.
In occupied Jerusalem, the freed Palestinian detainee, Suleiman Abu Ghosh, reported that Israeli occupation forces broke into his house in the Qalandia refugee camp and kidnapped him together with the Palestinian men Nour Ezzat and Yazan El Abidine.
In the northern West Bank, IOF invaded Nablus city and detained the Palestinian Journalist, and freed detainee Yassin Abu Lafah after breaking into his home in the Al-Masaken Al-Shaabi neighborhood, east of Nablus.
In a related incident, IOF arrested the Palestinian youth, Rizq Hajj Ali, after raiding his house and confiscating his own car in Jama’in town, south of Nablus.
The Israeli occupation has been conducting near-daily raids in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem since the start of the year during which around 607 Palestinians have been detained so far in August.
