Local Palestinian sources reported that the heavily armed Israeli forces broke into occupied West Bank cities and detained several Palestinians after raiding their houses and terrorizing their families in multiple military raids across the occupied West Bank.
In Jericho, Israeli special forces arrested the freed Palestinian detainee Sami Abu Atta after raiding and searching his family home in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, east of the occupied West Bank.
In Hebron, Israeli forces detained 3 Palestinians including a child identified as Muhammad Shehadeh, Ahmed Abu Awad, and the 15-year-old child Youssef Abdel-Fattah Rubai during a military raid into the city.
In Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces detained the Palestinian man Shadi Abu Gharbia after raiding and searching his family home in Al-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased near-daily military raids and violations by Israeli forces in recent months.
In June 2023, Israeli occupation forces arrested 380 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip including 45 children and 10 women.
Its worth noting that there are 4700 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails illegally held by Israeli occupation including 30 women and 400 children.
