Israeli occupation forces launched Monday, 12 December 2022, a campaign of raids across the occupied West Bank, detaining at least 15 Palestinians after breaking into their homes.
Local sources reported that the heavily armed Israeli forces broke into Hebron, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Jenin detaining several Palestinians after raiding their houses and terrorizing their families in multiple military raids across the occupied West Bank.
In the south of the West Bank, Israeli troops invaded Hebron city and kidnapped the Palestinian men Khaldoun Nader Al-Hawareen, Alaa Ismail Muslim Awad, and Wissam Masalmeh after raiding and searching their homes.
In Jerusalem, Israeli occupation invaded Qalandiya camp and arrested 6 Palestinians identified as Youssef Ratib Al-Sarawi, Youssef Jumaa, Laith Ammar, Jawdat Ammar, Ahmed Ammar, and Islam Awwad.
In Jenin, Israeli heavily-armed forces barged their way into the camp and kidnapped the Palestinian man Nasser Majid Zaid Al-Kilani after they raided and searched his home.
In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinian citizens including two brothers identified as Ayoub Ali Masalmeh, Younes, and his brother Mujahid Muhammad Safi Hasasneh, Ahmed Saeed Atallah, and Shaher Hassan Arouj.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occuiped West Bank and Jerusalem have seen increased near-daily military raids and violations by Israeli forces in recent months.
4,700 Palestinians are currently being held behind bars in 23 Israeli-run prisons and detention centers across the Palestinian-occupied lands, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club (PPC).
