Israeli occupation forces kidnapped Saturday, July 30, 2022 13 young Palestinian men during a raid into the neighborhood of Shuafat in occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Basel Abed, a local Palestinian activist, said that an Israeli occupation forces stormed a house for Suweilem family in the neighborhood and arrested 13 Palestinian young men, including a father, Ehab Mahmoud, and his son, Mahmoud.
He stated that they were moved to a nearby detention center.
Israeli occupation always commit grave violations against the Palestinian detainees and their families, including violations after their transfer to investigation and detention centres.
Furthermore, Israel commits the war crime of collective punishment by destroying the homes of prisoners’ families.
There are now around 4,700 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, including 170 children and 32 women. Around 600 Palestinians are being held in administrative detention.
