Israeli occupation forces invaded on Tuesday, 18 April 2023 the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, injuring several Palestinian people including a child.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that 2 Palestinian people were shot and injured by Israeli occupation troops’ live bullets mostly in the upper parts during a military raid into Nablus.
Local Palestinian sources reported that well-armed Israeli occupation forces barged their way to the city of Nablus and surrounded a Palestinian home owned by the Palestinian family of Al-Thouqan.
During the military raid in broad daylight, Israeli occupation forces targeted the house with missiles in the Balata camp in Nablus.
The Red Crescent stated that Israeli forces opened fire at the Palestinian medical crews, preventing them from reaching or treating the injured Palestinian youths in the Balata camp.
For several months, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out military raids in the occupied West Bank, concentrated in Nablus and Jenin.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli forces killed more Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2023 than in any single calendar year since the Second Intifada.
Since the beginning of 2023, at least 162 Palestinian people have been killed in Israeli attacks across the occupied Palestinian lands, including at least 15 children.
