Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained Wednesday, April 26, 2023, a Palestinian youth from occupied Jerusalem due to his visit to the Al-Aqsa mosque.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli troops detained the Jerusalemite Mo’taz Ouda, 18, from the Lions Gate (one of the seven open Gates of the Old City of Jerusalem).
The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees stated that the detention of Ouda was due to his visit to the Al-Aqsa mosque, as the Israeli occupation court issued a deportation order against him recently.
It’s noteworthy that the Israeli occupation has been escalating the detention of Palestinian citizens, especially the residents of occupied Jerusalem, and the deportation of them from the Al-Aqsa mosque as a way to decrease the Palestinian presence and facilitate the implementation of the Judaization schemes in the mosque and the holy city.
