Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued Wednesday, April 26, 2023, to impose a military blockade on the occupied Jericho by setting up military checkpoints at its entrances for the fifth day in a row.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli troops continued to close main entrances to the city, search Palestinian-owned vehicles, and embed Palestinians’ movement.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces detained many Palestinians at the northern entrance to the city.
It’s reported that the northern and the southern entrances witness the high deployment of Israeli occupation forces that leads to traffic jams for Palestinians.
