The Israeli occupation forces detained Thursday, November 17, 2022, the Palestinian child Ammar Jasser Zubeidat, 12, from his school, in the village of Zubeidat, north of Jericho.
His father, Jasser, stated that the occupation forces stormed Al-Zubaidat Elementary School, and detained his son Ammar, after skirmishes between the army and the teachers.
Israeli occupation forces have been escalating their violent raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the start of 2022. On a semi-daily basis, West Bank residents wake up to the Israeli military invading their towns and cities.
According to Palestinian figures published at the end of last October, Israel holds 4,700 Palestinian detainees in its prisons, including 30 women, 190 minors, and 800 administrative detainees
