Local activists reported on Wednesday that Israeli occupation forces had taken apart an operating business kiosk in al-Walaja, a village located to the northwest of Bethlehem in the southern area of the West Bank.
Mayor Khader Al-Araj said that a team of Israeli forces stormed the southern entrance of the village and demolished a business establishment, with a size of 20 meters, claiming it was constructed unlawfully.
Many Palestinians fear that it is only the latest in a series of measures implemented by the Israeli occupation to restrict Palestinian access to economic resources and opportunity in the West Bank.
