Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) brutally attacked Sunday morning 17 April 2022 the Palestinian prayers including women and elderly in the Jerusalem Mosque of Al-Aqsa.
Hundreds of Israeli troops assaulted the worshipers after Dawn prayer, firing rubber bullets, stun grenades and smoking bombs at people while performing prayers.
Locals said IOF closed the gates of the Al-Aqsa mosque and prevented worshipers from reaching the Aqsa mosque before attacking worshipers.
Israeli forces keep their raids on the Aqsa mosque and people there to clear it out from Israeli settlers who keep storming the Mosque and performing their Talmudic rituals.

The Israeli raids started two days ago, where Israeli forces have been suppressing Palestinian prayers and worshipers, as a result of which some 600 Palestinian people were detained and dozens were injured.
The Israeli attacks take place during Ramadan, the holiest month for Muslims, against Aqsa Mosque, the holiest place after Al-Masjid Al-Haram, which is considered a serious provocation for the whole Muslim nation.

Many countries and International parties condemned the Israeli aggressive attacks against defenseless prayers in the yards of Al-Aqsa including the United Nations.
Palestinian national forces, including the Hamas movement, warned the Israeli occupation from keeping on storming the Aqsa mosque and assaulting Muslim prayers in Aqsa yards.
Israeli extremist settlers launched calls and propaganda campaigns lately to perform Talmudic rituals in the yards of the Aqsa mosque including sacrificing offerings and spreading blood there.
Hamas movement warned that fulfilling such defiling acts in Yards of Aqsa mosque would be a violation of red lines set after a military confrontation in May 2021, and certainly, it would spark another military confrontation with the Israeli occupation to defend Aqsa mosque.
In Ramadan 2021, Israeli occupation forces, as well as Israeli settlers, brutally attacked Palestinian prayers in the Aqsa mosque using excessive force against people in Aqsa.
Israeli occupation forces launched stun grenades, live bullets, and smoke grenades against worshipers injuring hundreds including women and children.
The Israeli assault was the spark of an 11-day military confrontation, in which Israeli occupation forces killed 232 Palestinian people including 39 women, 65 children, and 17 elderly, and injured some 2000 people.
