Israeli occupation forces continued Monday, June 5, 2023, to besiege the Al-Mughayyir village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, for the twenty-first day in a row.
Israeli troops have been closing the two main entrances to the village for the 16th day, preventing Palestinian citizens from entering or leaving it and forcing them to take long roads instead, local Palestinian sources reported.
The sources reported that the Israeli forces allow one car only to pass the military checkpoints per hour, forcing many Palestinian to walk other long side roads to meet their daily needs.
Protected by Israeli occupation forces, extremist Israeli colonizers repeatedly attack the village and assault the Palestinian citizens to force them to leave the village, so the settlers seize it easily.
Daily and systematically, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) commit violations and attacks against Palestinian citizens, closures, deliberate detentions, home demolitions, and deportation, suffocating and complicating Palestinian lives in order to force them to leave their homelands.
