Israeli occupation forces demolished Tuesday, 6 December 2022 two Palestinian agricultural rooms in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
Israeli troops accompanied by two military bulldozers invaded the Nahalin town and demolished two agricultural rooms belonging to the Palestinian citizens Maher Hassan Yassin Abu Ghayada and Qarneh al-Da’mis under the pretext of not being licensed.
Israeli occupation is trying in various ways to forcibly displace Palestinians from their own lands and demolish their homes in favor of settlement expansion using pretexts most notably building without a permit.
During the first five months of 2022, Israeli occupation demolished 300 Palestinian-owned structures in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, according to the United Nations Organization for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA).
The organization explained that most of the demolitions were carried out under the pretext of lacking a building permit, noting that “it is almost impossible for Palestinians to obtain such or that permit.”
