Israeli occupation forces demolished Tuesday evening, 6 December 2022, Palestinian tents used as classrooms in Masafer Yatta and uprooted 50 olive trees in Birin village south of Hebron.
Israeli occupation troops demolished the Palestinian tents erected on the ruins of the Palestinian primary school of Isfi in Khirbet Isfi al-Fawqa, reported Fouad Amour, Coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees in Masafer Yatta.
The tents were used as classrooms for the Palestinian students who lost their school as Israeli occupation demolished it on 23 November.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces uprooted 50 olive trees and razed four dunums owned by Palestinian man Khaldoun Abu Sabah, reported the Chairman of the village council of Birin, Fared Burgan.
Masafer Yatta and surrounding Palestinian communities are subject to ongoing Israeli violations, including multiple assaults by illegal colonizers against Palestinian farmers and their lands.
Masafer Yatta, located in southern Hebron Hills, extends over an area of 30,000 dunams, with a population of 2,500 residents distributed over 12 villages or hamlets.
More than 2000 Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta are facing imminent expulsion from their homes by the Israeli occupation under the pretext of classifying it as a military training area for the Israeli forces in which the Palestinians have no right to live.
