Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that the Israeli occupation court postponed the trial of the Palestinian prisoner Mohammad al-Halabi, making the next court hearing the 170th court hearing that he will be subject to since his arrest in 2016.
The Israeli court renewed the detention of al-Halabi for 90 days.
Israeli occupation arrested al-Halabi, a humanitarian worker from Gaza and a father of five, in June 2016 at the Israeli Erez checkpoint between Gaza and Israel, as he was returning from a meeting at World Vision’s office in Jerusalem.
He has been subjected to the longest trial in the history of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli occupation jails.
He was also subjected to brutal investigation and physical abuse for over 50 days by the Israeli occupation.
