A horrifying and devastating incident unfolded in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, as Israeli occupation warplanes deliberately targeted the Shaldan family’s residence in Deir al-Balah Southern Gaza Strip without prior warning, resulting in a tragic loss of life and numerous injuries.
The war crime occurred in the town of Deir al-Balah, a place deeply affected by the ongoing conflict. The Shaldan family had sought refuge in their home, hoping to find safety amidst the relentless aggression against civilians in the besieged enclave.
Tragically, their hopes were shattered when the Israeli jets launched a merciless bombardment that reduced their residence to rubble.
