The Palestinian prisoner club stated today, Monday, January 10, 2022, that the Israeli occupation forces conducted a massive search of 80 Palestinian detainees, most of whom are sentenced to live imprisonment, vandalized their staff, and transferred them from the Hadarim prison to Nafha prison.
The club confirmed that this attack against the Palestinian detainees is one of the first steps that the extremist Israeli government announced, which aims to deprive the Palestinian detainees of all their legitimate rights and carry out more restrictions on them.
It indicated that the Israeli “Minister of National Security”, Itamar Ben Gvir, visited the Israeli prisons recently during which he renewed his threats against the Palestinian detainees. This is a clear indication to the next stage inside the Israeli occupation prisons.
It added that in light of the escalating Israeli threats against the Palestinian detainees and the increasing extremism of the new Israeli government requires more preparation from the Palestinian side to confront this criminal occupation.
