Israeli naval forces attacked Palestinian fishing boats near the coasts of Gaza City, Khan Younis and Rafah on Saturday morning, causing the fishermen to turn back to shore.

The Israeli navy unleashed a barrage of gunfire and water cannons at fishermen’s vessels when they were located three sea-miles away from the coast of northern Gaza City, compelling them to retreat inland. No one was hurt.

The Israeli navy shot at fishing boats off the coasts of Khan Younis and Rafah, situated in the south of the Gaza Strip, when they were about 5 nautical miles distant.

The Israeli navy consistently assaults fishermen on the Gaza coast with water cannons and gun fire, making it impossible for them to fish on a daily basis.
