The death toll of The Israeli occupation surprise attack on the Gaza Strip rose to 41 Palestinians where at least 311 others were injured including children.
Forty one Palestinians have been killed as Israeli jets continued to pound the besieged Gaza Strip for a second day, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Saturday.
A wave of Israeli air raids on the coastal enclave has left 41 people dead, including a 5-year-old girl, a 23-year-old woman and a commander of a Palestinian armed group.
Three hundred and eleven Palestinians have been injured, the ministry added in a statement.

In Khan Younis, on Friday at 4:30pm, Israeli artillery attacked farmlands and the home of villages in al-Fokhari with several shells. One of the shells hit the house of Adnan Atia al-Omour, and killed Daniana Adnana al-Omour, 22.
At 4:30pm, the Israeli warplanes also attacked a military site of a Palestinian resistance faction with several missiles, killing 29-year-old Fadel Mustafa Zorob and 35-year-old Mohammed Hassan al-Bayouk.
An Israeli air attack has targeted and destroyed a family home west of Gaza City.
Nadia Shamallakh, 65, said that her family of 10 was having breakfast when their neighbours came running to tell them to evacuate.
“No sooner had we left, the house and our crops all got destroyed. Me and three of my children had to go to the hospital,” she said.
“We are farmers. There are no fighters in the area.”
An Israeli air raid struck a civilian vehicle in the northern town of Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip, wounding several people and killing an elderly woman that had just celebrated the wedding of her son.
Naameh Abu Qaida was in the car with her family after picking up the bride from the wedding party. The family were on their way to the groom’s house.
An Israeli attack on the northern city of Jabalia has left five Palestinians dead, including three children, according to local news reports.
