Israeli occupation forces excessively fired Saturday, 24 September 2022 live bullets and poisonous gas canisters at a number of Palestinian sand quarry workers in east Deir al-Balah, southern Gaza Strip.
Local media sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stationed inside military sites east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip intensively opened their heavy weapons and fired poison gas bombs at the Palestinian workers, forcing them to flee from their workplace.
It is noteworthy that the IOF stationed in the east and north of the Gaza Strip deliberately shoot and fired gas on a daily basis at Palestinian workers, farmers, and shepherds, depriving them of their livelihood in peace and security.
Israeli occupation continues its illegal procedures against Palestinian workers, which are part of Israel’s illegal blockade that amounts to a prohibited collective punishment under international law.
