Israeli Forces Injure 3 Palestinian Journalists in Occupied Hebron

Israeli occupation forces injured Saturday, 24 September 2022 three Palestinian journalists during an anti-settlements rally in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, preventing them from covering. 

Local Sources reported that three journalists were wounded during the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on them while covering a support stand of Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. 

The Palestinian journalist Mashhour al-Wahwah reported that the Israeli occupation forces hit him directly with a gas bomb while the Journalist Fadi Khallaf and Wissam al-Hashlamoun fainted and treated by treated in the field by Red Crescent crews.

IOF had prevented Palestinian citizens and foreign solidarity activists from reaching the village of Al-Tawana to take part in a solidarity stand with Masafer Yatta residents who are facing imminent expulsion from their homes by the Israeli occupation under the pretext of classifying it as a military training area for the Israeli forces in which the Palestinians have no right to live.

Masafer Yatta and surrounding Palestinian communities are subject to ongoing Israeli violations, including multiple assaults by illegal colonizers against Palestinian farmers and their lands.
