Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) seized on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, 70 acres of land belonging to Azoun Atma village, located behind the apartheid separation wall, south of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank.
The IOF decided to confiscate lands belonging to Azoun Atma village and its adjacent area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Salfit governorate.
Sources revealed that the decision includes the seizure of 70 acres of land in the “Khalat Abu Atma” area, cultivated with olive trees, with the intention of establishing 192 new settlement units for the benefit of the “Sha’ar Tikva” settlement, situated on the village’s lands.
Israeli forces continue confiscating Palestinian properties and lands while initiating settlement outposts to expand their settlements and annex the West Bank under Israeli sovereignty.
