Israeli occupation forces stormed on Thursday, August 31, 2023, the mourning house of the Palestinian martyr child Khaled al-Za’anin in the town of Beit Hanina, located to the north of the occupied city of Jerusalem. During the raid, they arrested a civilian from within the mourning house.
The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs in Jerusalem reported that Israeli forces arrested the 18-year-old Palestinian young man Osama Arfat Amro from the Al-Za’anin’s mourning house. The Israeli forces also assaulted the family members present in the mourning house, using physical force, before evacuating the premises.
Just yesterday evening, the Israeli police opened fire at the 14-year-old child Khaled Samer al-Za’anin near Bab al-Amoud (Damascus Gate), causing him serious injuries. Regrettably, the child was left bleeding without receiving any medical attention, ultimately succumbing to his injuries.
