Ayyad Abu Qatish, the director of the Accountability Program at the World Movement for the Defense of Children, stated that the Israeli occupation killed 31 Palestinian children in the West Bank and 6 in Gaza since the beginning of 2023.
Abu Qatish made these remarks in an interview with “Voice of Palestine” radio on Saturday. He also revealed that the Israeli occupation continues to detain 160 children, including 21 in administrative detention.
Abu Qatish expressed concern over the lack of protection provided by the international community for Palestinian children as well as the absence of accountability for the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation. He also highlighted the unprecedented increase in killings and arrests of Palestinian children.
