According to the Ministry of Health, Israeli occupation forces fired on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, live ammunition at Palestinians, resulting in severe abdominal injuries and moderate thigh injuries. The victims were rushed to Rafidia Governmental Hospital.
The incident occurred during the incursion of Israeli occupation forces into the eastern part of Nablus city.
The Red Crescent in Nablus confirmed that numerous cases of suffocation were reported, with dozens of Palestinians being affected.
A man and his wife were also transported to Rafidia Hospital after Israeli Forces shot at their car in the residential area of Roujib.
After the incursion, medical personnel treated a Palestinian man with shrapnel injuries to the eye.
Israeli occupation forces, bolstered by dozens of military vehicles, including two bulldozers, entered the eastern part of the city through the Beit Furik checkpoint.
Additionally, a foot patrol entered the city from the Tur area, while the western area was penetrated by military vehicles through the Surra checkpoint.
Occupation forces spread across Amman Street and the adjacent streets surrounding the Tomb of Joseph. Israeli Snipers were observed on the rooftops of several high-rise buildings.
