Israeli occupation forces issued stop-work orders affecting several homes, structures, and walls in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan in Salfit City in the northwestern West Bank on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Local sources have reported that IOF invaded the western sector of the town, conducting searches of various residential, agricultural, and commercial premises and delivering notices to halt ongoing construction and work on these sites.
The reports specify that 10 Palestinian residences and structures have received stop-work orders from Israeli forces invading the area.
Widespread Destruction
In August 2023, Israeli occupation authorities issued a total of 106 notices for demolitions, work stoppages, and evictions targeting Palestinian structures, as documented by the Commission of Colonization and Wall Resistance.

Throughout 2023, Israeli authorities have consistently carried out demolitions of Palestinian structures, totaling 682 demolitions since the start of the year.
This ongoing wave of destruction has forcibly displaced 1,103 individuals and significantly impacted the lives of an additional 55,820 Palestinians.
