Israeli occupation forces continued their military assault on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camps for the 91st consecutive day, marking an unprecedented escalation that has targeted the city, its surrounding neighborhoods, and the Noor Shams and Tulkarm camps.
In the early hours of dawn, Israeli occupation troops raided several homes in the eastern suburb of Dhinnaba, conducting wide-scale searches and causing extensive property damage. Residents were subjected to interrogation and threats during the raids.
The area witnessed heavy gunfire from Israeli forces, alongside intensive movements by infantry units and continuous drone surveillance overhead.
At the same time, the Israeli forces deployed additional reinforcements, including armored vehicles and foot soldiers, to the city and its refugee camps.
House raids and commercial shop break-ins were accompanied by the firing of live ammunition and sound bombs.
Furthermore, Israeli forces imposed a full siege on the camps, closing their entrances with earth mounds and bulldozing several homes.
Severe restrictions were also placed on the movement of residents through widespread checkpoints on main roads and within neighborhoods, paralyzing daily life and worsening civilian suffering.
The brutal attack in the Tulkarm and Noor Shams camps continued with relentless shooting and explosions, aimed at suppressing the civilian population.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces persisted in seizing homes in Tulkarm’s northern neighborhood and along Nablus Street, converting them into military outposts and forcibly displacing their residents.
The ongoing attacks have resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women — one of whom was eight months pregnant — and the injury and arrest of dozens more.
More than 4,200 families, comprising over 24,000 individuals, have been forcibly displaced, primarily from Tulkarm and Noor Shams refugee camps.
The continuous assault has also caused widespread destruction to infrastructure, with 396 homes completely demolished and another 2,573 homes partially damaged. Commercial shops and vehicles have also been destroyed, looted, or vandalized by Israeli forces.
