Israeli forces detained Sunday, June 18, 2023, two defenseless Palestinian citizens near the separation fence east of the besieged Gaza Strip.
An Israeli military source claimed that Israeli troops detained two Palestinian after passing the separation fences northeast of Gaza.
It’s noteworthy that Palestinian citizens who live near the separation fence at Gaza borders are subjected to the Israeli occupation’s continuous attacks, including shooting, razing of agricultural lands, and illegal detentions.
Last May, IOF detained 6 Palestinian citizens in Gaza, including four fishermen. Two other Palestinians were detained near the separation fences east of Gaza.
The Israeli air, land, and sea blockade imposed on the city since 2006 has badly affected all Palestinian sectors and exacerbated the economic and humanitarian situation in the city.
Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2006. However, the Israeli occupation still controls every aspect of the Palestinians’ lives in the besieged enclave.
