Israeli occupation forces IOF demolished Al-Araqib village for the 216th time since 2010 on Monday morning, June 19, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces invaded Al-Araqib in the early hours of Monday and demolished the Palestinian homes and tents.
The sources pointed out that Israeli occupation forces demolished Al-Araqib village about seven times since the start of 2023.
Al-Araqib is one of the Palestinian villages in the Niqab desert occupied in 1948. Regularly, the Israeli troops invade the village, demolish the houses, and displace the Palestinian families.
Al-Araqib has become a symbol of the ongoing Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation as its people rebuilt the village every time the Israeli occupation demolishes it.
800 Palestinians currently live in al Araqib and rely on herding and agriculture as their main sources of income.
