Israeli occupation forces IOF confiscated building materials in Masafer Yatta, south of occupied Hebron, on Saturday morning, February 25, 2023.
Fuad Al-Amour, a Palestinian official in charge of monitoring Israeli settlement Masafer Yatta, said that Israeli forces confiscated building materials and a number of cement bags owned by the Palestinian citizen Youssef Jabarin.
Activist Al-Amour pointed out that Israeli occupation forces confiscated the building materials to prevent Al-Jabarin from constructing his home.
He added that people in Masafer Yatta are regularly banned from construction or renovation by Israeli occupation forces who routinely seized the people’s properties.
Palestinian figures showed that Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 700 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank in January 2023.
The attacks included assaulting Palestinians, uprooting trees, razing lands, seizing properties, burning and vandalizing vehicles, and closing roads.
