DaysofPal—In the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have carried out six new massacres targeting Palestinian families and displaced civilians in Gaza, resulting in the deaths and injuries of 129 people, most of whom are women and children.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in its daily statistical bulletin, received by Days of Palestine on Wednesday, that hospitals in Gaza have handled 51 fatalities and 78 injuries due to the latest assaults.
The ministry also highlighted the staggering toll of the ongoing Israeli military offensive, which began on October 7, 2023. To date, the assault has claimed the lives of 45,936 Palestinians and left 109,274 injured, including many in critical and life-threatening conditions. The majority of the casualties are women and children.
The health ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on the streets, inaccessible to rescue teams and civil defense workers due to the relentless attacks.
This marks the 460th consecutive day of Israel’s aggressive military campaign in Gaza, which has been described by Palestinian officials as a campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing targeting civilians and displaced families. The assaults include intensified aerial bombardments and heavy artillery strikes.
As the humanitarian crisis deepens, international observers continue to call for immediate intervention to halt the bloodshed and allow for critical humanitarian aid to reach the besieged population.
