Dozens of demonstrators suffocated with tear gas on Friday after Israeli occupation forces suppressed the weekly event and march in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
According to Fuad Al-Amour, a local activist, the Israeli occupation forces suppressed the event in the Al-Ain Al-Bayda and Al-Jawaya areas in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Al-Amour explained that the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the participants, suffocating dozens.
People of Masafer Yatta hold an event on a weekly basis, in which people of Masafer Yatta and foreign activists gather to protest against the occupation’s attempts to displace Palestinians in favor of settlement expansion.
