Israeli occupation forces IOF abducted on Sunday early morning and last night two Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and Jenin.
Palestinian local sources reported that the Israeli forces detained the Palestinian youth Mohammed Shaqfa, from Jenin, while crossing the Zaatara military checkpoint, south of occupied Nablus.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces raided several towns and villages in the occupied West Bank, eyewitnesses reported.
No arrests were reported. However, the Israeli forces conducted a wide search campaign in the villages of Rummana, Al-Taybeh, Zabuba, and Anin in occupied Jenin.
The forces also erected a military checkpoint at Jenin-Al-Nassera street and stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces detained the Palestinian child Azeez Elyan after raiding his family’s home in Al-Issawyia town in occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli forces carry out semi-daily incursions into the Palestinian cities in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli deadly raids claimed the lives of 12 Palestinians so far in 2023, according to the Palestinian ministry of health.
According to the Palestinian Center for Prisoners Studies PCPS, Israeli forces abducted at least 7000 Palestinians in 2022, including 164 women and 865 minors.
Seen as the deadliest year since 2005. 2022 has seen a steep escalation in Israeli violence and raids in the occupied West Bank, mainly in Jenin and Nablus.
