Days of Palestine – Gaza

The Hamas Movement stated in a statement commemorating Palestinian Child Day on Tuesday that Israeli occupation crimes against Palestinian children will not be subject to a statute of limitations and will not put an end to the Palestinian legitimate struggle.

The Israeli occupation is continuing to arrest and persecute Palestinian children, holding them under administrative detention policy and unfair trials, and subjecting them to all forms of psychological and physical torture in flagrant violations of international laws, the statement said.

The assassination crimes that are carried out against the Palestinian children will never be subject to a statute of limitations, the Movement added.

Hamas called on the United Nations to intervene for the release of all imprisoned children and to include “the Zionist entity in the list of shame” due to its inhuman crimes.

It also called on the humanitarian and human rights organizations to bear their responsibilities for the Israeli systematic attacks and violations against the children of Palestine and to work for their protection.

160 Palestinian children under the age of 18 are currently held in Israeli jails and detention centers.
