The Israeli occupation court issued a 23-year prison sentence against the Palestinian injured prisoner Noureddine Shinawi from Jenin in the West Bank, for allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack against an Israeli settler at a bus station in the occupied city of Afula four years ago.
The Palestinian Lawyer Khaled Mahajna reported that the prisoner, Shinawi was severely beaten all over his body by the Israeli occupation forces after he was shot and injured city of Afula on the 11th of this June.
Mahajna also revealed that the health condition of the wounded prisoner, Noureddine Shinawi, from Jenin, is currently stable.
The prisoner Shinawi was wounded by several bullets in the legs when he was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in Afula, on June 11, 2022.
According to the Palestine Prisoners’ Society, around 4,700 Palestinians are held currently in Israeli jails, including up to 600 held administratively without charge or trial.
