On Tuesday afternoon, disguised Israeli special forces entered Balata camp in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Israeli forces had attempted to carry out a mission in the camp, east of Nablus city, but were discovered by citizens.

This caused armed clashes to break out between the special forces and the citizens, leading to the eventual withdrawal of Israeli personnel from inside the camp.

Local sources reported no casualties but the tension in the area remains thick.

This latest incident reflects the escalated military presence and violence by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank.
