DayofPal– The Israeli army has intensified its atrocities in Central Gaza’s Nuseirat camp, committing on Monday horrific and brutal crimes without prior orders of evacuation.
In a statement on Telegram, the Government Media Office in Gaza said the Israeli occupation army stormed the new camp in Nuseirat with more than 17 military vehicles, dozens of soldiers and jets.
The sudden attack has allowed the Israeli army to kill and wound more than 50 people – all civilians, including children and women – in the camp. It has also demolished more than 20 housing units amd left several dozens in massive destruction.
In addition to the ground offensive, the Israeli occupation army has conducted relentless air attacks in recent days, killing dozens of people, including children.
Last night, more than four people were killed in a deliberate Israeli attack on a school-turned shelter in Nuseirat. Among the victims was a Palestinian infant who was taken to Al-Awda hospital after an Israeli drone dropped grenades on the school.
The office said in the statement: “We condemn in the strongest terms the barbaric aggression committed by the Israeli occupation army against the new camp area in Nuseirat,” calling the military’s actions a “crime of genocide”.
It added: “We call on all the world to condemn these complex crimes committed by the occupation against our Palestinian people.”
According to the Health Ministry in the besieged and bombarded Strip, the number of people killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since the start of the war has risen to 45,317, with 107,713 others wounded.
It said that 58 people were killed and 86 wounded during the last 24 hour-reporting period. A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the roads, with ambulances and civil defence crews unable to reach them, the ministry said.
