DaysofPal- Israeli airstrikes killed at least 28 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since early Saturday, including members of an entire family, and wounded dozens more, according to local authorities.
In one of the deadliest strikes, Israeli warplanes bombed the Sheikh Radwan police station in northwest Gaza City. Gaza’s Interior Ministry said the attack killed 13 police officers and personnel and injured others.
Among those killed were female police officers, including the head of the women’s police unit at the station, Najoud al-Madhoun, along with Nafisa al-Arabid, Sara al-Khatib, and Sundus al-Qouqa.
Meanwhile, an Israeli drone strike on a home in the al-Nasr neighborhood of northwest Gaza City killed three Palestinians and injured several others. The attack added to the growing civilian toll as residential areas continue to come under fire.
Further south, Israeli warplanes and drones targeted the administration building of the Ghaith displacement camp in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, a zone sheltering displaced families. Although no deaths were immediately reported, fires erupted in tents following the strike. Civil defense crews said at least 30 tents housing displaced civilians were damaged.
Earlier at dawn, an Israeli drone bombed a tent belonging to the Abu Hdaid family in the Asdaa area of Khan Younis, killing and injuring several people. The strike hit one of many makeshift shelters where families have been seeking refuge.
In Gaza City, four Palestinians — including two young girls and a woman — were killed after an Israeli strike hit an apartment near al-Abbas intersection in the west of the city. In a separate attack, five people were injured when another apartment near the Jabalia bus station in the al-Daraj neighborhood was bombed. Helicopters later carried out a third strike near al-Jalaa Street.
Notably, the latest killings come despite an existing agreement that was meant to reduce violence. Since Oct. 11, Israeli forces have committed hundreds of violations, resulting in the deaths of 492 Palestinians and the injury of 1,356 others, according to official figures.
