Israel Halts Aid Entry after Renewing Gaza Onslaught

DaysofPal – Israel has halted the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and sharply escalated its bombardment across multiple areas, in a grave breach of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10.

Medical sources confirmed that seven Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Saturday in Israeli air and artillery strikes that hit densely populated zones in the central Gaza Strip.

Five people were killed in an Israeli strike west of Al-Zawaida, where a missile struck near the Twix café, adjacent to tents of displaced families and several field hospitals along the coast. Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos and panic as medics rushed to recover bodies and treat the wounded amid burning debris.

Shortly afterward, two more Palestinians were killed in another Israeli attack near the Al-Ahly Club in the Nuseirat refugee camp, where two drone strikes hit residential areas teeming with civilians.

Both Al-Zawaida and Nuseirat lie outside areas under Israeli military control as stipulated in the ceasefire terms.

Further artillery and airstrikes against Rafah in southern Gaza were announced by Israel’s army, which claimed they were directed at “operational and military tunnels.”

In parallel, the Israeli political leadership approved the military’s recommendation to suspend all aid deliveries and close Gaza’s border crossings “until further notice.”

The decision to halt humanitarian aid was welcomed by Israeli Defense Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who instead called for an immediate return to full-scale war.

Hospital officials in Gaza said that since Israel halted the war and stopped aid entry, at least 51 Palestinians have been killed and over 150 wounded by Israeli fire.
