DaysofPal- The Gaza Health Ministry reported that at least 63 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli massacres against Gaza City in the past 24 hours, with hundreds more injured in a new wave of airstrikes.
The Israeli attacks come after Israeli forces resumed operations on March 18 with intense bombardments that left more than 400 dead and 500 wounded within hours, most of them women and children.
Israeli Occupation Forces IOF continued its military assault on the Gaza Strip on Friday, shattering a fragile ceasefire agreement that had briefly paused fighting earlier this year, according to Palestinian health officials.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that medical teams in Gaza City continue to provide care in the few hospitals still operating, despite the severe risks surrounding them.
The Ministry noted that access to Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Al-Quds Hospital, and Al-Helou Hospital has become extremely dangerous. It called on all relevant bodies to intervene to protect health institutions and medical staff and to ensure safe access.
The Israeli occupation has continued its bombardment, destruction, and massacres across the Gaza Strip.
One person was killed and others were wounded in a drone strike by the occupation in the Al-Mawasi area southwest of Khan Younis, while Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on central Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery also targeted the Al-Bureij and Al-Nuseirat refugee camps in central Gaza, while warplanes carried out a series of strikes east of Deir al-Balah.
Meanwhile, Israeli helicopters and drones opened fire on civilian homes in the Al-Nasr area west of Gaza City.
IOF also detonated a booby-trapped armored vehicle on Al-Thalatheeni Street in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City. At the same time, Israeli artillery shelled the northern areas of Al-Thawra Street west of Gaza City.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war, Gaza’s health authorities say 66,225 Palestinians have been killed and 168,938 injured, with women and children accounting for nearly 72% of the casualties.
On the Israeli side, military estimates indicate that more than 1,500 Israelis have been killed since the outbreak of fighting, including over 700 soldiers and officers, while around 10,000 others have been wounded.
