DaysofPal- For 213 days, Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement by intensifying airstrikes and artillery shelling across the enclave, targeting areas sheltering displaced civilians, carrying out demolitions and destruction operations inside the “yellow line,” and maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.
Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded after an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle near the Reconstruction Association in the Al-Amal neighborhood northwest of Khan Younis.
Gaza’s Interior Ministry announced that Lieutenant Colonel Wissam Fayez Abdel Hadi, director of investigations for the Khan Younis police, and Sergeant Fadi Abdel Moati Heikal were killed in the strike after Israeli aircraft targeted their vehicle in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis.
Earlier on Sunday, another Palestinian was killed and several others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near Makki Roundabout in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
A Palestinian was also injured after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on the Al-Shakoush area north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry, hospitals across the territory received five bodies and 15 wounded people over the past 48 hours.
In southern Gaza, Israeli shelling targeted the eastern area of Al-Qarara town northeast of Khan Younis, while Israeli quadcopter drones opened fire near the port area west of Gaza City.
Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the coast of Gaza City, as the Israeli military carried out demolition operations against several buildings in the city’s eastern districts.
Israel has continued to violate the ceasefire and war-ending agreement signed in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh on October 10, 2025, under Arab and U.S. mediation, through ongoing airstrikes, artillery attacks, live fire, and the destruction of homes and civilian infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip.
The Government Media Office in Gaza previously documented 377 Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement during April alone. Those incidents reportedly resulted in the killing of 111 Palestinians and the injury of 376 others.
According to data from the Palestinian Health Ministry, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has risen to 850 Palestinians killed, in addition to 2,433 injuries and 770 reported recovery operations involving bodies retrieved from under rubble or previously inaccessible areas.
The overall toll from Israel’s genocidal campaign on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reportedly reached approximately 72,736 killed and 172,535 injured, amid continuing military operations and worsening humanitarian conditions.
