Israeli occupation army admitted killing an unarmed Palestinian man who posed no direct threat to anyone’s life, according to an investigation by the occupation’s army on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
The Investigation, reported by Kan News radio, conducted that the Israeli forces killed Ahmed Kahla, 45, after shooting him in the neck although he was not armed.
Earlier on January 15, Israeli occupation forces shot and killed Kahla next to his car. He was heading to his workplace along with his son Qusai in Salwad town, east of occupied Ramallah.
The Israeli occupation army alleged that Kahla was to carry out a stabbing attack against Israeli soldiers. However, the Israeli investigation admitted the killing of Kahla despite the fact that didn’t attempt to attack Israeli forces.
Qusai Kehla, who was with his father, confirmed that the Israeli forces shot and cold-bloodedly killed his dad at point-blank once he got out of the car.
He explained that Israeli forces heavily fired tear gas canisters next to their car after causing a traffic jam. He added that his father left the car after the Israeli forces fired a gas grenade very close to his vehicle.
Israeli forces held Qusai for several hours after attacking him and killing his father. They released him later.
Since the start of 2023, Israeli occupation forces killed 18 Palestinians, including 4 children, after shooting them in different parts of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
