Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and extremist Israeli colonizers attacked Saturday, May 20, 2023, defenceless Palestinian citizens across the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, Injuring many of them and detaining others.
Israeli troops have reportedly stormed Jerusalem’s Old City, attacked Palestinians with paper gas and brutally assaulted them, injuring many, coinciding with Israeli settlers’ racial march into the city.
Local sources and published video clips reported that Israeli colonizers stormed Al-Wad Street in the Old City, assaulted Palestinians, sprayed pepper gas on them, and closed Palestinian shops under the protection of IOF.
While attacking Palestinians in Jerusalem, Israeli forces kidnapped citizens after brutally assaulting them.
Another two Palestinian citizens have been injured by Israeli forces who assaulted them and sprayed toxic paper gas on them near Bab Al-Hadeed (Iron Gate).
Israeli troops have assaulted and kidnapped another Palestinian young man near Bab Al-Silsila (Chain Gate), Palestinian eyewitnesses said.
Separately, Israeli colonizers stormed Ras Al-Amoud neighbourhood and Bab Al-Amoud (Damascus Gate) under the protection of Israeli forces who removed Palestine flags in the area.
