Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Sunday, February 12, 2022, several towns throughout the occupied Jerusalem, and detained many Palestinian citizens.

The Israeli forces raided Silwan town and detained the Palestinian citizen Kayed al-Rajabi and his wife from their home.

They also stormed the town of Al-Isawiya, east of occupied Jerusalem, set up a barrier at its entrance, stormed the house of Yasser Darwish, and confiscated Palestinian flags and removed patriotic slogans from the walls of the Palestinian homes.

In Shuafat refugee camp, the occupation forces stormed the Palestinian shops and attacked Palestinians.

These incursions are part of a series of attacks by the Israeli occupation, after the Prime Minister of the occupation, Netanyahu, announced his intention to carry out a large-scale military operation against the city of Jerusalem and the West Bank, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Security of the occupation, Itamar Ben Gvir.

In response to the Palestinian resistance acts against the occupation crimes, Netanyahu announced his intention this week to pass the proposal of Knesset member Ofir Katz, who emphasized “withdrawing citizenship from terrorists and deporting them.”
