The so-called “Civil Administration”, backed by the Israeli occupation forces army, stormed on Wednesday evening, August 24th, 2022, the Red Valley area, north of Fasayel in the central Jordan Valley, and expelled Palestinian families living there.
According to human rights sources, the Israeli occupation stormed the area and expelled the Palestinian families from it, hours after demolishing their tents.
The sources added that these families are the same ones whose residential facilities and animal pens were demolished by the occupation in the morning, under the pretext of not being licensed.
Jurists and activists interested in documenting the violations of the occupation in the Jordan Valley warned that this step is the first of a major settlement activity targeting the area.
Human rights activists unanimously agreed that this is a policy of complete displacement of the residents of the Jordan Valley, and its Judaization, in preparation for settlement activities in the near future.
