Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) set up Sunday evening, April 30, 2023, a military checkpoint at the southern entrance to Al-Khader town, south of occupied Bethlehem.

According to local sources, the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint, stopped Palestinian-owned vehicles, searched them, and checked Palestinian citizens’ identities.

In turn, this military checkpoint caused a suffocating traffic jam for those whether coming to occupied Bethlehem or heading to the occupied Hebron governorate.

Meanwhile, the Huwara military checkpoint, the Jordan Valley, and other crossroads in the West Bank have been witnessing a suffocating crisis as the Israeli occupation soldiers stationed there and deliberately stopped Palestinian citizens’ vehicles in both directions.

Tensions have escalated between Palestinian citizens and Israeli occupation forces amid intensified Israeli deadly military raids in occupied Palestinian territories, the latest was on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
