Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided the occupied West Bank city of Nablus and nearby towns and villages on Wednesday 13 April 2022, killing one Palestinian and injuring 17 others, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.
The Ministry said that Mohammad Hasan Assaf, 34, succumbed to the injuries he sustained after he was shot by IOF in the chest.
Five Palestinians were shot with live bullets, while five others were shot with rubber bullets.
In addition, a citizen was burned by a gas bomb and another got bruised after being run over by an Israeli vehicle.
Eight others suffered from suffocation during the confrontations with the IOF in the vicinity of Joseph’s Tomb.
IOF stormed the towns of Beita, Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, and Urif, south of Nablus, in addition to the eastern area of Nablus in order to provide protection to the Israeli settlers’ raids on Joseph’s Tomb.
