The Israeli occupation forces raided on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the home of the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian media sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the house of Palestinian Governor Ghaith in the middle neighborhood of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli Occupation Court issued a decision on August 4, imposing house arrest on Governor Ghaith, without identifying a period for the decision.
Ghaith has been detained 35 times since assuming his position as governor of Jerusalem in August 2018. He is also subject to prosecution, arrest, and prevention from participating in meetings or meeting Palestinian personalities by the Israeli occupation, in addition to being prevented from traveling or leaving occupied Jerusalem.
